Smartest Man in the World
Unfortunately, there were only three parachutes remaining.
The doctor grabbed one and said “I’m a doctor, I save lives, so I must live,” and jumped out.
The lawyer then said, “I’m a lawyer and lawyers are the smartest people in the world. I deserve to live.” He also grabbed a parachute and jumped.
The priest looked at the little boy and said, “My son, I’ve lived a long and full life. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you. Take the last parachute and live in peace.”
The little boy handed the parachute back to the priest and said, “Not to worry Father. The smartest man in the world just took off with my back pack.”
Moral: Your job doesn’t always define you, but being a Good Human being Does.

Knowing where to make an effort
A giant ship engine failed. The ship’s owners tried one expert after
another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine. Then
they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a
young. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he
immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top
to bottom.
Two of the ship’s owners were there, watching this man, hoping he
would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached
into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something.
Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer
away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill
from the old man for ten thousand dollars.
The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer …………………… $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap…………………….. $ 9998.00
Moral:
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference.

Harsh Words
One night in particular when my mom made
dinner after a long hard day at work, Mom placed a plate of bread jam
and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I was waiting to see if
anyone noticed the burnt toast.
But Dad just ate his toast and asked me how
was my day at school. I don’t remember what I told him that night, but I
do remember I heard Mom apologizing to dad for burning the toast. And
I’ll never forget what he said: “Honey, I love burned toast.” Later that
night,
I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked
him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and
said, “Your mamma put in a long hard day at work today and she was
really tired. And besides, A burnt toast never hurts anyone but harsh
words do!”

Blind
THE STORY OF A BLIND GIRL :
There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”
The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying:
“Just take care of my eyes dear.”
This is how human brain changes when the status changed. Only few remember what life was before, and who’s always been there even in the most painful situations.
